Scan and record
- Scan the code on the court's sign with your phone's camera. It opens the court's page on play.maw.gg.
- Sign in, or create a free account. Accounts are for people 13 and over.
- Under "Recording Duration", choose how long to record, then "Start Recording".
- Play. The facility's cameras record your court.
Your plan sets the longest single recording and your daily total, and the page only offers the lengths you can use. Some facilities also ask you to be at the venue to start a recording.
Or use the court kiosk
Many courts have a kiosk: a tablet at the court that starts a replay or a recording with one tap. It works the same way, and the clip arrives in the account you sign in with.
Find your clip
The clip lands in your account at play.maw.gg, visible to you and nobody else, to watch, download, share or delete. Clips are kept for 60 days from upload, or 12 months from upload on Pro Plus; download the ones you want to keep.
Clips are silent unless the facility has turned sound on, which it may do only with signs at the courts saying sound is recorded.
When you reach your allowance
A recording can be up to 10 minutes on Free (up to 30 a day), 20 minutes on PRO (up to 120 a day) and 60 minutes on Pro Plus (up to 300 a day).
Free and PRO have a monthly allowance of new clips: 3 GB on Free and 30 GB on PRO. When you reach it, new clips wait on the venue's PC and upload when your allowance renews on the 1st, when you free space or when you upgrade, while the venue still has them; nothing already stored is deleted early. A clip shared by several tagged players counts in full against each one's allowance. Pro Plus has 400 GB of clips in total, each kept 12 months from upload: if your storage is full, new clips still arrive, and we warn you that your oldest clips will be removed after 7 days unless you free up space.
