These Partner Terms, version 1, are an agreement between Turner Technologies LLC, which provides MAW, and you, a MAW sales partner. You accept them when you join the partner program; we record the date and the version you accepted. The Terms of Service also apply.
1. What a partner does
You introduce facilities and organizations to MAW. MAW signs, bills and supports each customer. You are an independent referrer, not an employee or agent of MAW, and you cannot sign contracts or accept payments for MAW.
2. Commission
- 20% of net collected revenue from each customer you introduce, for the customer's first 12 months.
- Net collected means what MAW actually receives, after refunds, chargebacks and discounts, and excluding sales tax. A facility's bill credit from its players reduces it.
- It applies to the customer's facility plans and event licenses. It does not apply to set-up fees, or to player subscriptions such as PRO and Pro Plus.
3. Registering a customer
- Register a prospective customer with us before it signs. A registration lasts 90 days.
- The customer is attributed to you when it signs with your partner code, recorded on its account. If more than one partner registers the same customer, the last valid registration before signing wins.
- Partner links and codes never carry personal data.
4. Payouts
- Commission on a payment becomes payable 30 days after the payment clears, or after a longer refund window in the customer's agreement.
- We pay monthly, by the 15th, by bank transfer, for commission that became payable in the previous month. Below $50 it carries forward to the next month.
- We need your W-9 before the first payout. We issue a 1099-NEC where the law requires it.
5. Refunds and clawbacks
If a payment is refunded or charged back after we have paid commission on it, the commission on that amount is taken from your next payout, and you repay it if no payout follows. Commission is paid only on money collected, so a customer who leaves leaves nothing to claw back.
6. What you may say
- Describe MAW only with what is on maw.gg and on Pricing.
- Offer no discount we have not approved in writing.
- Say nothing about AI beyond what MAW has published, and present anything on our roadmap only as roadmap.
- Promise no support times beyond MAW's own.
- If you post about MAW, disclose that you are a MAW partner in the post itself.
7. What is not allowed
- Referring yourself or your own business.
- Claiming commission for a customer you already bill or support.
- Bidding on MAW's name in search ads.
8. Ending the partnership
Either side may end the partnership at any time, effective immediately. Whoever ends it, commission already earned on payments collected before the end is still paid on the usual schedule. MAW may also end the partnership at once for a breach of these terms. Commission earned before a breach is still paid, except on sales won through the breach itself.
9. Law and contact
Florida law governs these terms, and disputes are decided by the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida. There is no arbitration. Questions: support@maw.gg.
