Add a layer
In the "Overlays" tab choose "+ Add Layer..." and pick a type: "Text", "Scoreboard", "Timer", "Image", "Lower Third" or "Sponsors". Image and Sponsors are part of Broadcast; the rest are in every plan.
Scoreboard
Type the "Home Team" and "Away Team" names, then use "+1" and "-1" for each side. MAW Live holds the score itself, so every screen and every operator sees the same score. A referee runs the scoreboard of their assigned courts.
Timer
Choose "Clock", "Countdown" ("Countdown from (mm:ss)") or "Stopwatch", then "Start", "Stop" and "Reset". For a countdown, "At 00:00" chooses "Hold at 00:00" or "Count on (-00:01)".
Text and lower thirds
A text layer has a font size, "Bold", a color, an alignment and an optional "Background box". A lower third is a name and a title you bring in and out with "Show" and "Hide".
Logos and sponsors (Broadcast)
An "Image" layer shows your logo or a sponsor's: set its "Image Path" to a PNG, JPEG or GIF on the PC. "Sponsors" rotates a playlist of sponsor logos on the picture and the stream.
Edit live
Changes reach the picture within about a second ("Syncing..." shows while they do). On the preview:
- Drag a layer to move it, and drag its handles to resize it. Layers snap to the edges; hold Alt to place one freely, and Shift to keep or free its shape.
- With a layer selected, the arrow keys nudge it and Ctrl and an arrow resizes it.
